Our Story

A thirty year Legacy

Kellenberger, Inc. was founded in 1991 by Greg Kellenberger in Elgin, IL where he was born and raised. Before starting his own company, Greg was employed as a farmer prior to entering the plumbing trade. His father and brother were electricians and his other brother was a general contractor/carpenter so Greg was no stranger to the construction industry. Once he was overloaded with side jobs, he decided to venture out on his own. Like many construction companies, Greg started his business in the residential market.

As years went on Kellenberger, Inc. moved into the commercial and industrial markets. While the company grew, the services expanded to include excavating and site utilities which is now the main focus of the company. From the beginning, Greg sought to instill a strong work ethic in his four sons Miles, Landon, Dillon and Taylor. Today, all four sons manage the company together.
